About this Mod

Server owners, ever wanted to add ethed but can't trust your community. Well this is the mod for you.

This mod works by making a config file. Then when someone trys to put a url into the etching table, it will read the domain the url is from and then will read the server's whitelist config. If one of the domains in the whitelist is the domain in the url, it is allowed, if not, the etching table won't even let them make the disc.

The default config has examples with soundcloud and youtube (I know youtube doesn't work, it is an example). You can also put links in with "www.soundcloud.com" instead of "soundcloud.com" (DO NOT include "https://" or "http://")

How to Install EtchedURLFilter on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "EtchedURLFilter". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
