Etherology
Etherology is a fabulous mod that plays on immersion and disclosure of its global lore. This project is bound to give you an unforgettable feeling of exploring a new world with detailed mechanics and eye-pleasing vanilla design.
Immerse yourself in the study of ancient knowledge and try to curb all the mysteries of the Ether! Discover new technologies, alchemical crafting recipes, create your own staff and distort reality as you please! If you wish, visit the Golden Forest - a fabulous forest of yellow-leaved trees, or dive into the bowels of the earth in search of a source of unimaginable power!
Etherology is not strict on attention, play for fun, and the mod will only sweeten your stay in the game. But if you are ready to discover this world in a new way - go for the truth!

It's no secret that this mod was inspired by another similar project - Thaumcraft. We respect Azanor's work for his wonderful work, and we aim to rethink many successful ideas of that time so that even years later you can return to that vast world.

This project is under development and a lot of things can be changed. Considering that the mod already has a lot of content, it's not even half ready for release, so... we hope that Etherology will not leave you indifferent, write a review and share it with your friends!

How to Install Etherology on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Etherology". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Etherology server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Etherology compatible with fabric?
Etherology officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Etherology – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Etherology consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
