About this Mod
Ever looked and Minecraft and thought; "Man, this game is great. But I think it's missing the destruction caused by a maniac," to yourself? No? Gee, I wonder why...
Well, luckily for you, this mod isn't that. Welcome to Expanded Universe!
Expanded Universe is the long-awaited sequel to Expanded World. Much like it's predecessor, Expanded Universe is a mod that aims to add more content to Minecraft for players to explore; This time having much, much more content planned, and sporting a far more vanilla feel than before.
Just a few of the features seen in this mod include;
- Enderite; A new tier above netherite
- Many, Many new Music Discs
- A new Sculk Biome
- A use for the fletching table, alongside a number of new exclusive arrows
- Several New Armor & Tool Sets with unique drawbacks and benefits
- New Woodsets
- Shield Tiers
And there is so much more to explore, and so much more coming in the future. So I hope you'll enjoy my mod.
Information Section:
This mod is, and will only ever be for, NeoForge 1.21.8. I have no way to port it at all, period. Please don't ask me to port it to another modloader or minecraft version.

How to Install Expanded Universe on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.8).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Expanded Universe". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Expanded Universe server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Expanded Universe compatible with neoforge?
Expanded Universe officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.8. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Expanded Universe – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Expanded Universe consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
