About this Mod

Mechanics:
1.Added a decay and expiration mechanic to all foods. By default, only apples have the spoilage and expiration feature.
Countermeasures:
1.Place ice inside storage containers to extend the shelf life of food.
2.Reduce the acquisition of food items.
3.If the Fabric Seasons mod is installed, food shelf life will change with the seasons: food lasts longer in winter and spoils faster in summer. You can store more food items during winter.
Customization:
1.You can customize food-related settings through the configuration file.

How to Install Expired Food on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Expired Food". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
