About this Mod
This mod enhances Hardcore mode by introducing a configurable extra lives system, allowing players to continue playing after death while keeping the hardcore experience challenging and meaningful.
It provides administrator-only commands that can be used to grant additional lives to specific players, giving server owners full control over player progression.
By default, each player starts with 3 lives, but the number of default lives can be easily adjusted in the configuration file, making the mod suitable for both small private worlds and larger multiplayer servers.
Administrators can add lives using the command:**
/lives add
Warning: This mod is not compatible with normal Survival mode.

How to Install ExtraLives on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "ExtraLives". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

ExtraLives server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is ExtraLives compatible with forge?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if ExtraLives consumes the most tick time.
