Fabricate!
An extension for JEI/EMI that lets you craft from base materials!
About this Mod
Do you hate wasting time manually crafting microcomponents in tech modpacks? Do you wish you could just craft an item directly without crafting its intermediate steps? I know I do, so that's why I made Fabricate.

What does Fabricate do?
Fabricate is a crafting extension for JEI/EMI that lets you craft items directly from base materials.
What does this mean?
Picture this. You have one log in your inventory, and you want a wooden shovel. Normally, you'd craft that log into planks, those planks into sticks, and then assemble everything into a shaped recipe to finally get your shovel.
With Fabricate, you click the wooden shovel in the EMI/JEI sidebar and immediately get one. The mod handles every intermediate step for you and refunds any leftover materials.
How do I use it?
Install JEI or EMI (or both) and drop Fabricate into your mods folder. Once you're in a world, open a crafting menu and find the item you want in the recipe viewer's sidebar. If you've got the materials on hand and have enough space for the recipe, clicking will craft the item and dump any leftovers directly into your inventory.
Does it work with other mods?
In theory, yes. Fabricate reads whatever crafting recipes are loaded at runtime, so any mod that adds new crafting recipes (Create, Quark, Supplementaries, content packs of any kind) should be supported automatically. That said, mod compatibility is the trickiest part to get right, so please report any bugs or errors on the project's GitHub.
Limitations
Fabricate only handles crafting recipes, so it won't smelt iron ore into ingots or cook logs into charcoal. Anything that requires a separate process (furnace, blast furnace, etc.) is outside its scope.

Fabricate! server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Fabricate! compatible with forge?
Fabricate! officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Fabricate! – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Fabricate! consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
