About
Fantasy Metals introduces four new metals and five new gems found across all the dimensions: Overworld, Nether, and End. These unique materials come from myths and legends, and are designed to add variety to weapons, tools, and armor. This allows players to choose gear that suits their preferred playstyle.

Metals:
- Adamant
Adamant is a legendary metal prized for its incredible durability and resistive properties.
- Orichalcum
Orichalcum is a magical relative of copper which holds a far sharper edge than most metals.
- Mythril
Mythril is a legendary metal famed for its pure appearance and light weight that belies its power.
- Carmot
Carmot is a strange ruby metal which seems to absorb blood to grow stronger.
Gems:
- Alexandrite
A beautiful gemstone which shines blue or teal under different lighting.
- Black Opal
A sparkling gemstone which shines in a rainbow of colors as you move it around.
- Sardonyx
A shimmering form of onyx that has turned bright reddish-orange. Common in deserts.
- Tanzanite
A lustrous gemstone which pulses from red to purple depending on the angle you view it.
- Tsavorite
A rare form of garnet which is a brilliant green color. Almost looks like an emerald.

How to Install Fantasy Metals on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Fantasy Metals". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Fantasy Metals server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Fantasy Metals compatible with forge?
Fantasy Metals officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Fantasy Metals – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Fantasy Metals consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
