About this Mod
In very active development. Expect game breaking bugs.
At some point I will remove the alpha flag
Human
Jack of all trades, master of none. Humans make up for their lack of specialisation with adaptability, stubbornness, and sheer numbers.
Elf
Elves move like wind through leaves — graceful, ancient, and usually convinced they’re better than you. Their magic is instinct, not study.
Dwarf
Built like the mountains they love: short, solid, and immovable. Dwarves value craftsmanship, grudges, and a good brew — in that order.
Orc
Orcs are creatures of passion — whether in battle, song, or feasting. Their strength is as raw as the lands they hail from.
Hafling
Curious, cheerful, and underestimated. Halflings slip under trouble and out again with a grin and a pocketful of treasure.
Giant
Giants are living legends, walking hills that speak slowly and crush boulders without noticing. They often forget how small the rest of the world is.
Fae
Fae are beautiful and dangerous, like lightning in a bottle. Tricksters by nature, they walk between worlds with a flicker and a smirk.

Fantasy Races server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Fantasy Races compatible with datapack and fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?
Fantasy Races officially supports datapack, fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Fantasy Races – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Fantasy Races consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
