Farming Irrigation Notes
This is a mod for better irrigation
About this Mod
This mod adds 5 types of watering cans with different materials: Iron Watering Can, Copper Watering Can, Diamond Watering Can, Golden Watering Can and Netherite Watering Can, as well as a set of efficient Reap Hooks for large-scale crop harvesting.
Watering Cans Features
Right-click on water while holding a watering can to fill it up with water. When filled, you can right-click on crops to water and accelerate their growth (inspired by the watering can in Stardew Valley). Each type of watering can features a unique maximum water capacity and watering range:
Copper Watering Can: maximum water capacity: 5, watering range: 3×3
Iron Watering Can: maximum water capacity: 7, watering range: 3×3
Golden Watering Can: maximum water capacity: 7, watering range: 5×5
Diamond Watering Can: maximum water capacity: 10, watering range: 5×5
Netherite Watering Can: maximum water capacity: 20, watering range: 7×7
Reap Hooks Features
Designed for efficient crop harvesting, the Reap Hooks allow you to quickly collect mature crops in a directional area in front of the player and automatically replant seeds/seedlings at the original positions—saving time on manual harvesting and replanting. Each Reap Hook type has a unique harvest range (a square area of harvest radius × harvest radius in front of the player) and durability:
Copper Reap Hook: harvest range: 3×3, durability: 190
Iron Reap Hook: harvest range: 3×3, durability: 250
Golden Reap Hook: harvest range: 5×5, durability: 32
Diamond Reap Hook: harvest range: 5×5, durability: 1561
Netherite Reap Hook: harvest range: 7×7, durability: 2031
How to Use Reap Hooks:Simply right-click while facing a patch of mature crops— the Reap Hook will automatically harvest all mature crops within its range (wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroots, etc.), drop the harvest yields directly to your inventory, and replant the initial growth stage of the crop at the original block position. Each successful harvest consumes 1 point of the Reap Hook's durability (no durability loss if no crops are harvested).
