About this Mod
Feline Warfare is a Minecraft Forge mod for 1.20.1 inspired by The Battle Cats. It introduces new weapons, materials, enchantments, and combat mechanics drawn from the Battle Cats universe.

Scourge's Staff: Conjures a Surge that pushes enemies away with powerful horizontal knockback. Built for crowd control.
Bane's Staff: Conjures a stronger Surge that inflicts Curse on enemies, stripping them of their enchantments and preventing them from applying debuffs to you.

The Curse System
Enemies hit by the Bane's Surge are inflicted with Curse, a custom debuff that:
- Disables all enchantments on the cursed entity (no Protection, no Thorns, no Fire Aspect).
- Blocks harmful effects from reaching you (a cursed Husk can't inflict Hunger, a cursed Stray can't apply Slowness, a cursed Cave Spider can't poison you).
- Works generically against any mob, including modded ones.
Surge:
a towering AoE column of energy that damages and affects all enemies caught within it.
- Surge levels determine how long it does last (ex. level 1 last 1s, level 2 lasts 2s and etc.)
- Bypass armor due being magical damage
Progression
Currently a full crafting chain tied to the Nether. Mine rare soul-infused ores, refine them into crafting components, and forge new weapons. Though may suffer alteration in later updates.

How to Install Feline Warfare on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.6).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Feline Warfare". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Feline Warfare server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.6). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Feline Warfare compatible with fabric and forge?
Feline Warfare officially supports fabric, forge for Minecraft 1.20.6, 1.20.5, 1.20.4. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Feline Warfare – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Feline Warfare consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
