A mod based around adding traditional Chinese festival foods.
🥮 Mid-Autumn Festival 🌕
Four kinds of mooncakes:
- Five Nuts Mooncake
- Hawthorn with Jujube Paste Mooncake
- Lotus Seed Paste with Salted Yolk Mooncake
- Preserved Meat Mooncake
They can be placed on wooden plates, with each type of mooncake featuring a unique appearance.
🐉 Dragon Boat Festival 🚣
Sweet Zongzi and Meat Zongzi, along with related ingredients.
🏮 Spring Festival 🥟
Some features here is still under development.
Customizable fillings for dumplings and baozi.
You can further ban or expand available filling ingredients via the configuration file, and set limits on the nesting of custom fillings (e.g., a baozi filled with dumpling).
🌿 Miscellaneous 🍊
The mod also adds a series of ingredients such as red beans, lotus root, and rice, along with their corresponding crops and wild resources (some features here is still under development).
Players can get Unknown Seeds by breaking grass. Right-clicking while holding these seeds allows players to transform them to various crop seeds of this mod.
Additionally, functional blocks like Stove, Fermentation Jar, Drying Rack, and Chopping Block have been added to support cooking and ingredient processing.
📦 Early Development
The mod is currently in its early development stage, and some features is not yet complete. While playing, you may encounter bugs or crashes. It is strongly recommended to back up before using this mod. Please feel free to submit any issues you find about this mod.

How to Install Festival Delicacies on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Festival Delicacies". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Festival Delicacies server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Festival Delicacies compatible with forge?
Festival Delicacies officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.19.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Festival Delicacies – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Festival Delicacies consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
