About this Mod
Ever get tired of losing your friends when you go exploring? This simple mod renders their name plate over any distance so you always know how to find your way back, even when they're outside your render distance.
- Keybind to hide names of far away players. Defaults to m
- Distance between you and each player is shown above their name plate
- By default, sneaking players will be hidden. There is a config for this
- This mod must be installed on both the server and the client. It will never be client side only.

How to Install Find My Friends on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for " Find My Friends". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Find My Friends server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.19.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
