About this Mod
Mojang once again missed out on fleshing out their game. When adding fireproof wood, why not add fireproof boats made from said wood?
This mod adds the missing warped and crimson boats which can be used on lava for safe travels around the lava lakes. There are of course also chested versions of the boats.

Important Performance notice:
To fix some Mojank where lava is rendered inside the boats, this mod by default changes the render type for lava turning it translucent. This can have a performance hit on low end systems but can be turned off in the client config file.

How to Install Fireproof Boats on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Fireproof Boats". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Fireproof Boats server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Fireproof Boats – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Fireproof Boats consumes the most tick time.
