About this Mod
This mod creates a new enchantment called Fire Walker. This lets you walk across lava buy creating solid magma beneath your feet, allowing you to easilly traverse the nether lava lakes. This solid magma will slowly decay and turn back into lava, and acts similar to the vanilla enchantment Frost Walker. It does not create magma if you are swimming in lava, or fall into it.
This enchantment is for boots only and is incompatable with both the Frost Walker and the Depth Strider Enchantments.
It has 2 levels of enchantment, which vary the size of the magma 'bridges' you form when moving.
It is currently available for Forge 1.15, 1.16.3, 1.20.2, and Fabric 1.20.2 with other versions potentially coming at a later date.

How to Install FireWalker on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "FireWalker". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

FireWalker server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is FireWalker compatible with fabric and forge?
FireWalker officially supports fabric, forge for Minecraft 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.16.3. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with FireWalker – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if FireWalker consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
