About this Mod

Fix Shield is a tiny tech mod that fixes one of the most annoying mechanics in Minecraft's combat system. In vanilla, after pressing right-click, the shield takes a quarter of a second to actually begin reducing damage. This often results in getting hit even when used in a timely manner. Fixed an issue where the shield would not provide instant protection.

How to Install Fix shield on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Fix shield". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
