Flower Bonemealing
A simple mod that allows you to spread small flowers by right-clicking them with bone meal.
About this Mod
ABOUT
The "Flower Bonemealing" mod is intended to solve one simple issue: Flower farming. When playing survival, I found myself to be annoyed by the fact only tall flowers can be bonemealed to drop a copy of themselves. When playing on Bedrock, however, I learnt that it is a feature to be able to right click a small flower with bonemeal to spread more of it. This is my attempt of replicating this feature in a more Minecraft Java Edition like way.
USAGE
Like the about section describes, simply right-click a flower with some bone meal to spread more of it. The main purpose is to farm dyes.
CONFIGURATION
This mod is highly configurable. It contains a block tag called flower_bonemealing:blacklist to which you can add flowers that should not be spread. Additionally, the mod contains config options that let you set the spread range of flowers on all three axes individually, as well as a decimal number to control how successful spreading is.
COMPATIBILITY
This mod works with flowers from all mods by default if they tag their flowers as minecraft:small_flowers. The way it works is that it checks whether the interacted block is of this block tag and then does a series of checks to ensure it only spreads to positions the block would survive, meaning all base blocks like dirt are also compatible by default and don't need to be tagged.
