About this Mod

Chainmailed allows you to overlay chainmail armor on top of any other armor in order to add its armor points to the other

How to use

Put any armor, the corresponding chainmail piece, and one iron ingot into a smithing table. Equip the armor to add the armor bonus

This datapack/mod uses armor trims for the visuals as well as the effect. If the armor trim is removed/overwritten, the bonus armor will be removed as well

If using the datapack version, the resource pack is also required to prevent missing textures

How to Install Chainmailed on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Chainmailed". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
