About this Mod

Adds various items to Zoom in Minecraft 1.7.10!

This is my attempt to balace zoom mods a little bit more and make them more immersive!

You can zoom by holding any of the various items, or by pressing a keybind with either item present in your inventory or a configured baubles slot. All items zoom the same amount.

You can also zoom outward if you're in third person.

Config to allow zooming without any items

Configurable Zoom baubles slot and functionality

Config for cinematic zoom controls including punching to toggle it off and on while zooming

Zoom logic taken from Zume! That means you can scroll in and out very smoothly while zoomed!

REQUIRES UNIMIXINS!

Feel free to PR or submit models or textures!

Frequently Asked Questions

FluxZoom server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.7.10). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is FluxZoom compatible with forge?

FluxZoom officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.7.10. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with FluxZoom – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if FluxZoom consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
