About this Mod
Summary
Food Motivated is a mod designed to motivate farming as a means of progression. At the moment the mod adds the Selling Bin block, inspired by the Shipping Bin in Stardew Valley. Each in-game day, a list of 15 items are chosen from every food item in the game that can be sold that day. At midnight any items in the Selling Bin that can be sold are converted to a number of emerald nuggets proportional to the amount of hunger each item restores.
Goal
The goal of this mod is to encourage a different style of gameplay. It can be used together with mods that add new food items, villager types/trades, and automation to scale up your food production and gain resources through villager trades while you build out your town.
Plans
More features are planned to make this mod more general and motivate farming-focused gameplay. One planned feature is to introduce a villager hunger mechanic such that if villagers aren't adequately fed, they'll lock their best trades. Additional plans are improved raids, settlements to establish your own village and keep the villagers happy, and more!
