About this Mod
Summary
Eatting food sucks, well kinda. Beside filling our stomack they don’t do much, and that’s not enough in a game, I want something more, something better, and then the word “Food Buff” came to mind, and here we are.
Food N’ Fuel is a mod aims to give more value to niche vanilla food sources by turning them into a much better food for various situations, along with adding better fuel sources for bulk smelting and other modded machinery.
To see the recipe of all items. Just Enough Items (JEI) is reccommended.
Features
Currently the mod gives the players the option to:
- Make “Honeyed" food by combining a honey bottle and certain food item in a crafting grid. Despite restoring the same hunger points and saturation of the original food item, it will heal the player for 4HP (2 hearts) once eaten and gives the player beneficial potion effects, either for combat or exploration.

- Prepping “Kelp-Wrapped” food to get ready for a comfy under water exploration.

- Be able to cook edible food that can’t be cooked orginally (Carrot, Beetroot, Tropical Fish,…)

- Have farmable fuel by using overworld ingredients, which burns for 12 items (same as blaze rod)

- And more.
