Fool's Barrel

A Fabric mod that ports the "barrel on head" feature from the Minecraft April Fools' snapshot 22w13oneBlockAtATime to modern versions. Wear a barrel and hide in plain sight!

Features

Barrels can be equipped to the head slot, playing the barrel-open sound on equip.
Crouching while wearing a barrel counts as "hiding inside the barrel" and grants:
- Hostile mobs (including the Warden) ignore you at the AI targeting level.
- Other players and mobs will not lock their gaze onto you.
- Creepers will not initiate their explosion attack against you.

How to Install Fool's Barrel on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Fool's Barrel". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
