An updated and upgraded version of the mod Fox Friend, originally by SuiKe.
This mod allows you to tame foxes, making them your pet! They'll defend you, attack with you, and follow you, just like any other pet.
Tamed foxes have a few new mechanics compared to regular, vanilla foxes that simply trust you:
- on top of defending you, they'll also attack with you
- you can make them wait by right-clicking them
- sneak + right-click on a fox with an item in its mouth makes it spit out the item
- they follow you around and teleport to you if you're too far away, even if they're in unloaded chunks!
- tamed foxes can regenerate, either by waiting, or by eating food you give them
- and more™!
Foxes can be tamed with a single sweet berry (though this might be subject to change in the future).

How to Install Fox Friend Remastered on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Fox Friend Remastered". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Fox Friend Remastered server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
