About this Mod

My goal with this mod is to add a small gimmick to each GUI.
Currently supported GUIs are the Combiners (Anvil and Smithing Table), Shulker Boxes and the Grindstone with plans for more.

Shulker Boxes

Two Shulkers, one on the left and one on the right are shooting Shulker Box Slots with their bullets. Hit slots levitate upwards until the levitation effect runs out

Oh no, the shulkers used to construct your Shulker Box are still alive, attack the Shulker Bullets before your slots levitate away.
This and other modifications to the GUIs make sure that the experience you have is unique.

How to Install Functional UI on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Functional UI". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Functional UI server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.19.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Functional UI compatible with forge?
