About this Mod

Geophilic Backport

🌲About:

Geophilic Backport is a datapack that subtly improves the Pale Garden added from VanillaBackports with the improvements and details of Geophilic!
Here's a short list of the changes Geophilic Backport makes:

Tree stumps and fallen trees are backported.
Some Vanilla Trees from the original Pale Garden are backported.
Small bushes grow in the Pale Garden biomes.
Cobwebs appear around the trees of the Pale Garden.
Eyeblossoms somewhat more common.

If you are not convinced, then go and see the pictures — a picture is worth at least two words, maybe even more!
Maybe in the future I will bring more features from the newer versions to the 1.20.1 or add more compatibility with other mods,.

I hope you enjoy it!

Geophilic Backport server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Geophilic Backport officially supports datapack, fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.20.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Geophilic Backport consumes the most tick time.
