What kind of mod is Gizmos?

Gizmos is a mod that adds a diverse variety of new blocks, items, and mechanics that shake up the traditional vanilla Minecraft experience.
In other words, Gizmos mismashes some of the random Minecraft mod ideas that I've had into a single compact package.
From homemade flamethrowers to rideable ravagers, Gizmos is filled to the brim with concepts that are - at most - only loosely connected to each other!
Weapons

As of right now, Gizmos adds two new weapons to the game:
The Soul Fire Spitter is a homemade flamethrower cobbled together with spare parts and fueled by blaze powder.
The Slingshot is a fantastic, elastic item that can be used to hurl snowballs, eggs, and ender pearls over long distances.
Firework Star Block
Taking inspiration from cubfan135's "Minecraft Opportunities" series, this mod adds the Firework Star Block to the game! The Firework Star Block is used to craft your own customized Firework Star.
Cultivated Shulker
This mod also adds the chorus gourd block, which can be crafted by surrounding a pumpkin with chorus flowers on a crafting table.
Chorus Gourds can be sheared to spawn cultivated shulkers that are friendly to players and attack hostile mobs.
Rideable Ravagers
Ravagers are now tamable and rideable! Just reduce a ravager to 1 heart and feed it a golden apple to tame it! You can ride around on your new best friend and have it assist you in combat.
Horseshoes
You can attach horseshoes to mounts (including tamed ravagers) to give them a significant speed boost!
Horseshoes can also be enchanted with any of the enchantments available to regular boots.
If you want to remove your mount's horseshoes, then just right-click on them with an iron, diamond, or netherite pickaxe.
Status Infused Snow Golems

Gizmos give Snow Golems some much-needed utility by letting players infuse their frosty friends with potion effects!
Just right-click on a Snow Golem with a potion in your main hand to infuse it with the potion's status effects.
Each status effect (with a few exceptions) grants Snow Golems a unique benefit.
I encourage you to experiment with different potions to figure out how to best utilize your new and improved Snow Golem!
Seeker Arrows

Seeker arrows can hone in on your enemies like a heat-seeking missile!
Seeker arrows are crafted using a feather, stick, and an eye of ender.
Seeker arrows will naturally target the Ender Dragon, Shulkers, and Endermen.
Unlike other projectiles, Endermen cannot dodge seeker arrows!
If none of the aforementioned mobs are present, then seeker arrows will hone in on entities afflicted with the glowing status effect.

Server lagging with Gizmos – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Gizmos consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
