About this Mod
Intro
Glidelyta Aims to fix the issues with the all powerful mode of transportation, the elytra.
Glidelytra (Glide-lytra) is a Minecraft Mod for Fabric that Aims to rebalance the Elytra in a fun way.
This mod is a work in progress Beta and some major things might change.
The Content
Inspired by the Legacy console edition Glide minigame, this mod features boost rings!
Boost rings are multiblocks that boost you when you fly above them!
When you get boosted you will gain a status effect that makes you have less drag while gliding.
Check out the Wiki for more Info on how to build the multiblock.

Firework Rockets now have a cooldown and their cooldown increases slightly per flight durration.
Your Elytra will also recharge durrability slowly when you're not flying.
When you get hit by a projectile or take damage from an explosion, your elytra will be disabled
for a little while, preventing them from escaping quickly in pvp matches or sniping gliders out of the sky.
Fireworks have an additional boost while under Y level 90.
Effect is greater the closer you are to sea level.
Elytra has less gravity and less drag overall.
Game Psychology
To achive maximum efficency, you will have to build a network of boost rings to keep your speed. They are more powerful at high altitudes with sea level (y63) being the base level.
your elytra will be constantly loosing durrability as you fly so its important that you get
where you're going quickly. Firework rockets are still viable for short distances and
getting a little altitude but the elytra won't be something that you can use to rapidly explore undeveloped chunks with as you will need to take breaks for it to recharge.
Extra Content
Featuring 7 music discs with soundtracks from the minecraft glide minigame (By Gareth Coker)!
These Soundtracks are on the "Minecraft Creator-safe" playlist so I assume its ok to use them.
If im wrong, tell me and I'll remove them.
Treat these as beta content that could go away in the future.
This Mod Features a very basic config. Check the Wiki for info on the config options.
