Glyphastic!
By far the best implementation of the Glyph-based magic system from The Owl House!

About this Mod
The Purpose
The mod adds new items called Glyph Scrolls, that on use do different abilities/actions that can be used in pvp, traveling, or just for utility
➕ Additions:
- Blank Glyph: A template for creating usable Glyph Scrolls on the **Glyph Inscriber
** - Glyph Scroll: When used, does an action dependant on what glyph combination is inscribed on it
- A full Glyph Combo system, 13+ Total handcrafted actions, Imperfect Combination system
- An easy to use Glyph Inscriber block, with a cool GUI
Usage
- Craft Blank Glyphs by surrounding amethyst shards with paper
- Craft a glyph inscriber block
- Use the glyph inscriber's GUI to write a glyph combination to the Blank:
- Place The Blank in the center slot of the GUI
- Drag and Drop the glyphs from the "palette" at the left onto the bigger surrounding slots
- A written Glyph Scroll should appear at the output slot if there is any glyphs to write
- The Imperfect Combination System makes it much easier to search for usable glyph sets
- The Output Scroll dynamically shows what ability it has depending on the glyphs written
- Note: Glyph order in the GUI doesn't matter, what matters is what glyphs are written
- 1 Scroll craft costs 1 Experience level, to craft a scroll - just take it
- To Bulk-Craft scrolls - Shift + Click the output scroll
- Use the outputted glyph scroll item to use the written action (1 out of 13), this also removes the used scroll
Registry
For all the glyph combinations there are 13 different actions to match, here are they (without the combination)
- Overgrowth - Acts a giant bone meal
- Ember - Creates a ring of fire around you
- Frost Cover - Covers natural blocks around you with ice
- Illumination - Gives the user Night Vision
- Regeneration - Gives the user Regeneration
- Launch - Propells the user in their look direction
- Shockwave - Propells entities in range from the user, ignites affected entities
- Explosion - Creates an explosion roughly the same power as regular TNT
- Invisibility - Gives the user a new effect: "Pure Invisibility" - Hides both the player and the held item
- Ascension - Massively launches the user upwards, when on the top - gives Slow Falling
- Nature's Strength - Gives the user Sterngth 2
- Iceful Raise - Creates an ice pillar below the user
- Flash - Flashes White the screen of players in range, has a massive delay
Most of the actions have a delay/cooldown for balance reasons
Coming Soon
I plan on making certain additions in the future mod versions, here are the current ideas so you know what to expect:
- Glyph Placement System - Activates the scroll's ability when walked over
- Per-World Glyph Combinations - Will determine the glyph combinations for hardcoded actions dynamically based on the world seed (So no memorizing!)
