Race selection mod, always wanted to play as a Dwarf, Elf, Fairy or Human?! Now you can, this mod adds new races with different bonuses and maluses. Oh and Vampire Biome

About this Mod
Race selection mod
At the start of the game choose a race you want to play, each comming with its own bonuses, and/ or maluses.
We have 8 races so far.
Play as Human, Wood Elf, Night Elf, Dwarf, Demon, Vampire and more to come!
Some bonues and maluses may be only numerical like +% to damage with certain weapon or completely mechanical like Vampires who burn in sunlight, but get lifesteal and more damage with any weapon.

Bonuses:
- +20% damage with sword
Maluses:
- No specific drawbacks
Dwarf
Bonuses:
- +20% damage with axe
- +20% mining speed
- +2 armor
- +20% reach
Maluses:
- -20% damage with sword
- -20% damage with bow
- -10% movement speed
- -20% height
Night Elf
Bonuses:
- +20% damage with crossbow
- +20% movement speed at night
Maluses:
- -20% damage with axe
- -20% damage with bow
- +20% height
Wood Elf
Bonuses:
- +20% HP
- +20% damage with bow
- +10% movement speed
Maluses:
- -20% damage with axe
- +20% height
Demon
Bonuses:
- +20% damage with sword
- Immunity to fire and lava
Maluses:
- -20% damage with bow
- -20% damage with crossbow
- Damage from water and rain
Vampire
Bonuses:
- +20% damage with all weapons
- 30% chance for lifesteal
Maluses:
- Burns in sunlight
Ghoul
Bonuses:
- Can breathe underwater
- Rotten flesh feeds it
- Does not burn in sunlight
Maluses:
- Can only eat raw meat
Fairy
Bonuses:
- +10% movement speed
- +20% damage with trident
- +50% armor from leather armor
- +20% reach
Maluses:
- -30% height
- -20% damage with axe
- -20% damage with pickaxe

Command (OPs only):
/race menu player_name
will let you summon the race selection menu for specific player to change race.
Command (All players):
/race language
will let you summon the language selection menu to change language of mod and mods UI easily.

You need Terrablender and Fabric API
Made with Servers in Mind, races chosen will show as a prefix before your name in game and in scoreboard like: [Human] Greews

How to Install Greews Races on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Greews Races". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Greews Races server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Greews Races compatible with fabric?
Greews Races officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Greews Races – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Greews Races consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
