GUI Inspector
A tool for developers to inspect GUIs

About this Mod
GUI Inspector lets you inspect the GUI elements of any Minecraft screen. You can view a tree of all widgets and components on a screen, including their class names and properties. Class and method names are properly mapped to Yarn and Mojang mappings.
Not only can you view properties, but you may also manipulate them, including most immutable properties. You can even remove an element entirely.
Selecting an element outlines it in-game so you can easily identify it. You can also enable Inspector Mode to click directly on an element in-game and have it highlighted in the tree.
For more detailed inspection, you can capture draw calls and inspect their properties, call stacks directly, and the texture used to render that call, if applicable.

GUI Inspector server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is GUI Inspector compatible with fabric?
GUI Inspector officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.1, 1.21. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with GUI Inspector – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if GUI Inspector consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
