About this Mod

🪶 GulliverLite

Tiny adventures, big vibes. GulliverLite lets you shrink, glide with paper parachutes, raft across water on a lilypad, carry and throw mobs and other players, hide inside flowers, ride rockets into the sky, and even retreat into your own personal hidey hole.
Built for Fabric, and integrates seamlessly with Pehkui for size scaling.

🧩 Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.20.1
  • Fabric Loader + Fabric API
  • Pehkui 3.8+

🧰 Features

🧍 Size Device

A handheld gadget that lets you set your player’s size to specific tiers — works perfectly alongside Pehkui.

Crafting Recipe:
Crafting Recipe

☁️ Paper Parachute

Hold Paper in either hand while falling smaller than normal size to gently glide down.

  • Prevents fall damage
  • Automatically disables when landing (planned)

🪷 Lilypad Raft

Shrink yourself and right-click a Lily Pad on calm water with air above to spawn a tiny invisible boat with a lilypad top — your mini raft!

Usage:

  • Consumes one Lily Pad (unless in Creative)
  • Controls: W/A/S/D like a boat
  • Despawns and drops the lilypad when not used

Tips:

  • Works only when smaller than normal
  • Must click the top face of water with air above

🐦 Bird & Bat Riding (Parrots, Chickens, Bats)

When you’re Tiny or Micro (≤ 1/8 scale), you can ride a Parrot, Chicken, or Bat to soar through the skies!

Controls:

  • W – Move forward
  • Space – Ascend gently
  • Sprint (Ctrl) – Descend slowly
  • Hover naturally when idle
  • Auto-ejects if you grow too large

Notes:

  • Parrots and Bats can fully fly
  • Chickens glide instead of flying
  • Mounts are AI-disabled while ridden for smooth control

Player & Mob Carrying

When you’re larger than normal, you can pick up mobs and even other players!

How it works:

  • Right-click a mob or player with an empty hand (while big) to pick them up
  • Left-click to throw them forward or upward
  • Shift + Right-click to gently place them down

Details:

  • Carried entities freeze and can’t move or push you
  • Throws apply forward and upward velocity
  • Fully multiplayer-safe

💥 Giant Stomp (Ground Slam)

When you’re giant-sized, you can slam the ground to crush and knock back enemies around you.

How to use:

  1. Jump into the air while large
  2. Hold Sneak (Shift) while falling
  3. Upon landing, unleash a shockwave that deals area damage and knockback

Effects:

  • Scales with size and fall distance
  • Adds explosion sounds and particles
  • Has a short cooldown
  • Ignores carried entities

🌸 Flower Hiding

When you’re smaller than normal, you can Right-click a flower to hide inside it — becoming invisible to everyone outside.

Usage:

  • Works on most flower types
  • Hold Sneak (Shift) to dismount and exit
  • Perfect for sneaky escapes or hide-and-seek fun

🚀 Rocket Riding

Players who are Tiny or Micro (≤ 1/8 scale) can now ride rockets to soar upward!

Usage:

  • Place a firework rocket to mount it automatically
  • Sneak to dismount mid-flight, or wait for auto-eject when it ends
  • Combine with Elytra for creative flight tricks

🧿 Hidey Hole & Hidey Wand

Create your own tiny world within a block! Craft the Hidey Wand and use it to enter your hidey hole.

How it works:

  • Small, Tiny, and Micro players (≤ 0.5 scale) can Right-click the side of a block with the Hidey Wand to create the hidey hole
  • Right-click the hidey hole to enter
  • Inside, stand on the iron pressure pad for at least 0.5 seconds, then Jump to exit
  • You can move the pressure pad to choose your exit location
  • Double-sneak (Sneak twice quickly) to exit without the pad
  • Hidey holes are persistent, keeping interiors when re-entered, removed, and replaced

⚙️ Admin / Utility

  • Reset Size Command – Instantly reset any player’s scale back to 1.0
  • Gulliver Guide Command – Gives the in-game guidebook with all GulliverLite info and tips

☁️ Safety & Smoothing

  • Automatically enforces valid size tiers (no in-betweens)
  • Prevents stuck gravity or floating states
  • Tiny players take reduced fall damage
  • Carried entities are collision-free

🚀 Quick Start

  1. Craft the Size Device
  2. Shrink or grow using it
  3. Glide with paper while falling
  4. Raft across water on a lilypad
  5. Ride birds, bats, and chickens when small
  6. Pick up mobs or players when big
  7. Hide inside flowers or create a hidey hole
  8. Stomp as a giant for shockwave attacks

🔧 Compatibility

  • Works standalone
  • Detects and integrates with Pehkui
  • Fully multiplayer-safe (client + server install)

Issue Likely Cause
Lilypad doesn’t place You’re full-sized, clicked the wrong side, or there’s no air above the water
Bird/Bat won’t move You’re not small enough (must be Tiny/Micro)
Paper parachute not working Must be holding Paper and be smaller than normal
Carry not working You’re too small or not using an empty hand
Flower hiding not triggering Must be smaller than normal and clicking the flower block
Hidey hole won’t open Must be using the Hidey Charm and be ≤ 0.5 scale

Frequently Asked Questions

GulliverLite server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is GulliverLite compatible with fabric?

GulliverLite officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with GulliverLite – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if GulliverLite consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
