About this Mod
Hamster Core - Deep Combat Enhancement System
Hamster Core is a Minecraft combat enhancement mod inspired by Warframe, introducing a complete elemental attribute and faction weakness system to the game, completely transforming the traditional combat experience.
Required Prerequisites: Placebo and Apothic Attributes
Core Features
Six Faction System
Includes Grineer, Infested, Corpus, Orokin, Sentient, and Whisperers. Each faction has unique weakness relationships. The mod intelligently assigns factions to vanilla and modded mobs, with each weapon corresponding to specific weakness effects—making combat more strategic.
Nine Elemental Systems & Composite Mechanics
Physical Elements:
Impact (causes staggering), Puncture (weakens enemy output), Slash (causes continuous bleeding).
Basic Elements:
Cold (slows/freezes), Electricity (stuns/paralyzes), Heat (reduces armor), Toxin (penetrates shields).
Composite Elements (the mod’s signature feature): Generates powerful effects through combinations of different basic elements.
Explosion (Heat + Cold): Delayed area-of-effect explosion, effective for clearing groups of enemies.
Corrosion (Electricity + Toxin): Powerful armor reduction (up to 80% armor stripped).
Gas (Heat + Toxin): Creates a toxic cloud area, dealing continuous damage to enemies within range.
Magnetic (Cold + Electricity): Counters shield units, significantly boosting shield damage.
Radiation (Heat + Electricity): Makes enemies attack indiscriminately, creating tactical chaos.
Viral (Cold + Toxin): Greatly increases damage to health points.
Deep Status Effect System
Each element has unique trigger mechanisms and stacking effects. For example:
Cold gradually freezes enemies; at 10 stacks, freezes targets for 3 seconds and doubles critical damage.
Corrosion drastically reduces armor.
Radiation causes enemies to attack allies, creating chaos.
Status effects stack in layers, adding rich strategic options to combat.
Elemental Combination Strategy
The mod’s essence lies in elemental synergy. Players can freely combine elements via mod configuration (top-left combinations take priority, bottom-right are applied last). For instance:
Equipping Heat first, then Cold = Explosion. Reversing the order may yield another composite element.
Even identical elements’ combination order affects results, offering deep loadout customization. Weapons with innate composite elements can merge with others for unique effects.
Intelligent Compatibility Design
Perfectly supports vanilla Minecraft and various creature mods.
Flexibly defines faction rules via configuration files.
Fully compatible with weapon mods; elemental effects auto-adapt without extra setup.
Supports precise faction assignment for mobs by namespace or entity ID.
Tactical Depth in Practice
Every battle demands consideration of:
Selecting weapon attributes to counter target factions.
Combining elements for optimal status triggers.
Balancing loadouts for output and survival.
Mob farming efficiency hinges on system mastery, while boss fights test loadout strategy. Different enemies require tailored elemental setups—enhancing both playability and challenge.
