Perfect for Hoplite & PvP Servers
If you play on Hoplite or any other competitive PvP server, this mod gives you a real advantage in reading the room. Knowing who's lagging lets you:
- Target high-ping players — they're more likely to rubber-band and miss hits
- Avoid trading with low-ping players who have better hit registration
- Gauge server stability at a glance before committing to a fight
No more alt-tabbing to ping checkers or squinting at the tab menu mid-fight.
Requirements
- Minecraft Java Edition (Fabric)
- Fabric API
Client-Side Only
This mod runs entirely on the client. No server-side installation needed — works on any server including Hoplite, Hypixel, and private SMP servers.

HeadPing server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is HeadPing compatible with fabric?
HeadPing officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with HeadPing – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if HeadPing consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
