About this Mod
❤️ Heart Mod – Expanded Health & Healing System for Minecraft
Overview
This mod rebalances gameplay by encouraging exploration through collectible Heart Crystals that increase health while adding a base-focused healing system with auto-regeneration turned off, requiring players to be more careful and avoid mistakes.
Key Features
- Dynamic Health Progression
Start with 5 hearts (10 HP). Collect the new item, Heart Crystal.
Each Heart Crystal increases your max health by 1 heart (2 HP).
You can find them only in naturally generated chests.

- Challenge
Auto-regeneration is turned off by default.
You need to avoid dangerous situations and/or find ways to manage your healing.

- Achievements
Integrated with Minecraft’s advancements system.
Track your healing progress and earn rewards for both Bandages and Heart Crystals.

- Bed Healing
Now beds don’t skip the night, but they heal you.
While you rest in bed, your HP will gradually increase.

- Penalty System
Your inventory stays after death (keepInventory is true), but you will lose Crystal Hearts. The number of lost Crystal Hearts increases with the size of your health bar:

- New Structure
Heart Crystals can be found in loot and in newly generated structures - Crystal Shrines.
Watch out for the traps inside.

Crafting Recipes
- Improvised Bandage

Restores 1 heart (+2 HP) but also adds a Slowness effect.
- Bandage
Restores 1 heart (+2 HP).
- Enhanced Bandage
Restores 2.5 hearts (+5 HP).

How to Install Heart Mod on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Heart Mod". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Heart Mod server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Heart Mod compatible with fabric?
Heart Mod officially supports fabric for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Heart Mod – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Heart Mod consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
