About this Mod

Made for the Heartcore modpack! Is hardcore too annoying, and survival too easy? With this mod, you start with 6 hearts instead of 10, and every time you die, you lose a heart. Fear not, though, as crafting a Heart with a golden apple can add hearts back, up to the vanilla 10!
Simple Heart System
- You start with 6 hearts instead of the vanilla 10 hearts.
- Every time you die, you lose a heart.
- If you lose all your hearts, you are put into Spectator mode, unable to play, just observe.
- You can regain hearts by crafting and consuming a Homunculus Heart, up to vanilla 10 hearts.
Homunculus Heart
A heart made out of rotten flesh and alchemy. Craft it by surrounding an enchanted golden apple with rotten flesh in a crafting table. Once eaten, grants the user +1 heart. It won't work if you already have 10 hearts, though!
