About this Mod

What is this mod?

This mod lets players control their visibility on BlueMap with simple commands:

/bluemap-hide - hide yourself from BlueMap (or other players if you OP)
/bluemap-show - show yourself on BlueMap

You can also create map markers using signs inspired by BlueMap Sign Markers.

To create a marker, place a sign and write on the first line:

[poi] - marker without style
[poi]style_0 - marker with a style

Each player can create up to 5 markers by default (configurable).

To see available styles you can use.
Use:

/bluemap-marks help

To add your own assets, put them in:

bluemap/web/assets/hmbm-poi/

How to Install Hide Me from BlueMap! (HMBM) on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set neoforge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Hide Me from BlueMap! (HMBM)". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
