About this Mod
A fleshed out enchant level increaser mod
Original essentially a ripoff of limitless, now with more features
This mod was original created for 1.17 as a ripoff of limitless, it now supports many more features than just increasing the max level of enchantments.
Current features;
- changes anvil limit (configurable)
- enchants loot
- makes higher level librarians better at enchanting
- increases bookshelf detection area and changes pattern
- config allows change of max level of all enchants
- limit for command enchant is increased further
- limit to level 255 removed completely
- supports being run server side
- max level of command enchants increased
- Librarian villagers can now be given gold or gold blocks to increase enchanted book level
- craft enchanted books with diamonds to decrease their cost in the anvil interface (only supported on non-serverside version)
Upcoming features;
- Optional overwriting language files the roman numerals of enchants over level X (Disabled by default)

How to Install High Level Enchants on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.18.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "High Level Enchants". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

High Level Enchants server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.18.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is High Level Enchants compatible with fabric?
High Level Enchants officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.18.1, 1.18, 1.17.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with High Level Enchants – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if High Level Enchants consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
