About this Mod
Astral Armors introduces new magical ores that can be crafted into armor, tools, and staffs, each set meant to enhance an individual’s unique playstyle. Whether the explorer, the builder, or the fighter, Astral Armors offers variety to Minecraft's stale tool progression in a Vanilla+ fashion.
Rose Gold - Longevity
Rose gold can be crafted by combining gold and copper ingots. The rose gold tools are an upgraded version of gold, being both efficient and durable. The rose gold staff is especially powerful, as it can be used to heal other players by giving them temporary regeneration. Although they are obtainable before Diamond, Rose Gold Tools have the highest breaking speed in the game, making them a valuable and situational asset even when more durable tools like Diamond or its upgrades are attained.
Celestine - Agility
Celestine crystals can be found in Celestine geodes underground anywhere in the overworld. Once crafted into armor, the player will experience a 2% speed increase for each armor piece worn. In combat, the player can also use the Celestine Sword to hit any mob to gain a temporary speed boost. The Celestine Staff allows players to right click to levitate and glide through the air for a few seconds. Celestine tools are on par with Netherite, being slightly faster but less durable.
Lunite - Brutality
Lunite can only be obtained by mining the underside of End Islands. The constant risk of falling into the void makes this ore particularly difficult to get. However, it is worth it because all Lunite items have infinite durability. The Lunite weapons also boast the heaviest damage in exchange for slower speed, making them a worthy addition to any warrior's arsenal.. The Lunite Staff draws its power from the End and its inhabitants, allowing the player to teleport on command. Lunite tools are on par with Netherite, being slightly slower but unbreakable.
Assassin - Secrecy
Assassin armor can be obtained by using Assassin Cloth, from 8 red wool and one gold ingot. This armor, when worn in a full set, turns you invisible to other mobs, severely decreasing the danger of the world. Echo Shards can be used to further upgrade this assassin armor into Echo Assassin Armor, but make sure to obtain a full set before doing so. Be careful when placing yourself in dangerous situations with this armor, as damage will reveal you to the world.
Amber - Vitality
Amber armor and tools can only be found in the ancient jungle labyrinths. When worn, the amber armor gives the player additional hearts. The maximum number of hearts a player can achieve is twenty in total. The amber staff embodies creation, placing down infinite amber scaffolding blocks that break with one click. Likely as it was for the ancient architects of the jungle labyrinths, amber will be a great addition to any builder’s inventory. Amber tools have the unique feature to autosmelt in exchange for a slower break speed.
Jungle Labyrinth - Hostility
The newly added jungle labyrinth takes on numerous forms of trickery. Inside are mazes filled with traps and mobs, defending precious treasure from the ancient times. The jungle labyrinth also introduces two new mobs, Mommy Long Fangs, and her children, the Widows. The arachnids are deadly and guard the jungle with a poisonous ferocity. If killed, there is a chance to get the spider staff, which gives poison III to any mob that it is used on
Flower Crowns - Serendipity
The early days of Minecraft are always the hardest because players need to go caving to get iron armor. However, they usually must do this with no other protection. To make early-game just a little bit more colorful, flower crowns can now be crafted by placing three flowers of the same color in a crafting table. The color of the flower crown will also change depending on the color flower used to craft it. These pretty garments give one armor point and a stylish flair to any player’s skin.
