About this Mod

This datapack adds a hookshot, which has a range of 10 blocks, and a grappling hook!
An optional resource pack is available, but isn't needed if you download the mod version, or if you only use the vanilla, server-side features of the datapack

To get started,

Use /function hookshot:hookshot to get the 3D hookshot (requires resource pack or all-in-one mod)
Use /function hookshot:grappling_hook to get the 3D grappling hook (requires resource pack or all-in-one mod)
Use /function hookshot:grappling_hook_vanilla to get the vanilla grappling hook (use a lead texture) (compatible with vanilla client, server side only, no resource pack needed)

How to Install Hooking Hookshot on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Hooking Hookshot". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
