This mod is a great choice to build up tension to your minecraft world!
This addon contains 15 diffrent Sounds/Voices which will play from 10-18 minutes, and there is a 1/15 chance to get a not so scary jumpscare
There is a good portion of sounds from minecraft itself in this mod, but they are changed or have a lower pitch so it's not too stale. I think there is 3-5 voice lines and a couple impact sounds and a rare not that scary jumpscare
I strongly recommend using this mod with other horror mods.

How to Install Horror sounds on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Horror sounds". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Horror sounds server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Horror sounds compatible with forge?

Server lagging with Horror sounds – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Horror sounds consumes the most tick time.
