Horse Compass
Have you ever lost your horse? Tired of searching? Craft a horse compass and track your favorite horse.
Usage
Craft your horse compass with the following recipe
Right click a horse with the compass to track it. A heart particle indicates that the horse is now tracked. A tracking compass glows and points to the location of the horse if you are in the same dimension.

Extras
Tracking a named entity automatically renames the horse compass to the named entities name.
Extending Trackables
You can extend the trackable entites by extending the entity type taghorsecompass:trackable_by
via a datapack. How to extend tags is documented on the Minecraft Wiki#Tag. The mod checks if an entity type has the tag and then if true saves the entity to the compass.

How to Install Horse Compass on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.10).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Horse Compass". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
