Hot Deposit
This mod will let you deposit items in your inventory into chests and similar containers nearby using a hotkey. You can configure which chests to deposit to using a checkbox in the top right corner of the chest inventory screen.
About this Mod
Easily add items in your inventory to nearby chests and containers with the click of a button. This mod adds a button to container inventory screens. The hotkey can be configured from the key binds menu. Configure which chests you want to deposit to with a checkmark on the inventory screen after you've opened a chest.
Currently supports: Chests, Large Chests, Shulker Boxes, Ender Chests, and Barrels.
How it works:
Once you've pressed the configured hotkey, the mod will get a list of reachable containers (chests) and interact with them one by one to get the inventories. If you have items in the player inventory that match items within one of the reachable containers, it will utilize the quickMove functionality of the container to move the matching item stack into the container. If you have similar items in more than one container, the closest one will be the container deposited to.
Caveats: The uniqueness check for a chest marked as hot deposit is the location of the chest. That means if you have a chest (or shulker box, etc) marked as no hot deposit and move it to a new location, than the chest will be marked as hot deposit as that is the default.
