About this Mod
Howling Blight
Something is wrong with the wolves.
Stories from wandering traders speak of packs that no longer fear the sun, their fur matted and their jaws dripping with rot. Villagers whisper that the illagers have begun breeding darker beasts in the depths of woodland mansions — larger, crueler wolves that fight alongside them in raids. Hunters call them Wargs.
But the real danger isn’t the beasts themselves.
It’s the blight.
When wolves fight the undead, the corruption can spread. A bite from a zombie or one of the twisted zombie wolves may infect them. Even feeding your loyal companion rotten flesh could seal its fate. A once-loyal wolf might soon join the growing pack of undead prowling the forests at night.
Not every beast has fallen, though. Illager warbands now march with powerful Wargs — massive wolves bred for war. They are stronger, tougher, and far more dangerous than the wolves of the wild.
If you travel with wolves, be careful.
The pack may not stay loyal forever.
