About this Mod

HT's TreeChop Continued

A fork of HT's TreeChop by hammertater, updated for Minecraft 1.21.11 on Fabric. This fork exists to keep the mod available on newer Minecraft versions while preserving the behavior and spirit of the original.

What does TreeChop do?

TreeChop changes how tree felling works in Minecraft. Instead of mining every log individually, chopping any log in a tree accumulates "chops." Once enough chops build up, scaled to the tree's size, the entire tree falls at once. Logs drop normally and leaves decay naturally, making wood gathering faster and more satisfying without feeling overpowered.

  • Chop the base of a tree repeatedly to fell the whole thing
  • Highly configurable chop scaling (linear or logarithmic, based on tree size)
  • Compatible with Jade, WTHIT, ModMenu, TheOneProbe, Apotheosis, and PMMO
  • Works on both client and server
