Project Overview
Hunger Begone is a food and adventure mod designed exclusively for Minecraft 1.20.1 Fabric. Centered around the player's hunger system, this mod revamps hunger management into a more engaging and user-friendly experience through unique enchantments, cooking utensils, and a dedicated food system.
Complete Cooking System
- Stove & Oven: New Stove and Oven blocks featuring the mod's unique cooking mechanics
- Pan System: Cook food with the Pan on the Stove, supporting multiple uses
- Mortar and Pestle: Used for grinding ingredients and crafting special food items
- Shelf: Place items inside to receive hints for food recipes
Added nearly 30 food items (currently in development)
6 Enchantments
- Nourishment: Converts the health of slain entities into saturation
- Nutrition: Gain experience when consuming food
- Speed: Increases sprint speed while saturation is above 0
- Warmth: Immunity to powder snow damage when hunger is high
- Enthusiasm: Enhances knockback and negative effect duration based on saturation
- Field Harvester: Grants slow falling near farmland and boosts harvesting efficiency

How to Install Hunger Begone on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Hunger Begone". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
