About this Mod

🥩 Hunger Bound – A New Way to Survive
Hunger Bound is a custom Minecraft Fabric mod for 1.21.6 that transforms survival into a brutal, food-driven progression system.

You begin with just 1 heart (2 HP)—and no easy way out. The only way to grow stronger is to eat. Every unique food fully consumed increases your max health by half a heart. Make smart choices, explore widely, and survive long enough to eat your way to power.

But beware: death wipes all progress. Your hearts, your food history, your achievements—gone. And with the new death-ban system, dying too often can get you temporarily banished from the world.

🔍 Core Features
Start With 1 Heart
You begin your journey with only 2 HP. Every decision matters.

Eat to Grow Stronger
Each new food fully consumed increases your max health by 1 HP (half a heart). Up to 42 HP (21 hearts) can be earned.

Death Resets Everything
When you die, your hearts and food history are wiped. No shortcuts. No pity.

Death-Ban & Auto-Unban System
After a configurable number of deaths, players are automatically banned and only unbanned after a delay (also configurable). A death chest and sign will mark your final moment with your head, heart count, last food, and survival time.

Revival System
A custom crafting recipe allows players to create an Orb of Revival using 4 netherite ingots, 4 diamond blocks, and a player’s head. Once crafted, rename the orb in an anvil to the banned player’s name, then use it to revive and unban them. All progress is reset, giving them a fresh start.

BUFFS and DEBUFFS

Eat 2, 3, or 4 unique foods in a row to gain stacking buffs: Speed, Regeneration, and Strength

Eat 3, 5, or 7 of the same food in a row to receive stacking debuffs: Hunger, Nausea, and Poison
This system encourages strategic, varied diets and punishes repetitive eating.

Multiplayer Safe
Designed for dedicated servers, all data is tracked per-player, with world-specific save systems and full multiplayer compatibility.

Advancement Integration
Track your journey with a custom advancement chain like “A Healthy Obsession”, synced to your health growth.

Server-Friendly Design
Lightweight and performance-safe, the mod requires no client-side installation and integrates cleanly into vanilla or modded SMPs.
