About this Mod
Hybrid Birds is a mod focusing on adding a variety of new birds to the world of Minecraft, with six new birds currently in the mod (plus babies!)
Currently available birds, and their babies:

- Swan - Cygnet
- Guinea Fowl - Keet

Most birds have some functionality added to them as well!
Rooster:
- Applies a new buff, Roosters Calling, if a player wakes up from a bed within 32 blocks of them, giving slight regeneration and saturation lasting until noon
- Scare away ocelots
- Can be fed glowberries to turn them aggressive, making them fight any other aggressive roosters for 10 seconds.. do with that what you will
Turkey:
- Can be fed wheat to fatten it up to two times, fatter turkeys can drop more meat when killed
- Scare away ocelots
Guinea Fowl:
- Behave exactly like chickens, but produce up to 4 keets when bred, making them a more efficient source of food
Duck/Goose:
- Drop raw duck and raw goose respectively, which can be combined with a raw turkey to create a Turducken
Coming with these new creatures are a bunch of new food items, including cooked eggs, ducks, geese, turkeys, and turducken, which is a placeable food item that can be eaten up to 10 times!

Is Hybrid Birds compatible with fabric and forge and quilt?
Hybrid Birds officially supports fabric, forge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Hybrid Birds – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Hybrid Birds consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
