About this Mod
This mod intends to overhaul workstations in Minecraft.
Current features include furnace variants for recipes with no efficient smelter (clay, stone, charcoal, etc.)
Future planned features include Multiblock Workstations like mega furnaces.
- The Kiln
- Cooks clay, cobblestone, cobbled deepslate, bricks, terracotta, etc. at double speed.
- The Glassblower
- Cooks sand into glass at double speed.
- The Coking Oven
- Cooks logs into charcoal at 2x speed.

How to Install Improved Workstations on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.6).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Improved Workstations". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Improved Workstations server crashes on startup – what to do?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Improved Workstations consumes the most tick time.
