An Infinite Totem

About this Mod

This data pack allows any item to be enchanted with Infinity, and it'll actually make that item infinitely usable! Whether it's a Totem of Undying, a Diamond Block, a Firework Rocket, Bonemeal, or even a Bucket of Milk, Infinite Infinity will allow you to endlessly use any item to your heart's content!

Simply obtain a book with the Infinity enchantment and apply it to your item in an anvil! Alternatively, you can type /enchant @s infinity in Creative Mode while holding the item.

WARNING

It is incredibly easy to make your infinite items disappear by right clicking too fast, or holding right click and F at the same time. At the moment I can't think of any good way to fix these things without a complete redesign of the mod.

[DISCLAIMER: This mod uses Minecraft's data-driven enchantment system, which is considered experimental, requiring a full world reload on initial pack installation.]

Frequently Asked Questions

Infinite Infinity server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Infinite Infinity compatible with datapack and fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?

Infinite Infinity officially supports datapack, fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.9, 1.21.8. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Infinite Infinity – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Infinite Infinity consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
