What is CICADA
CICADA is a mod coded by enjarai which most of its code is DIGITAL GARBAGE
It spams the console with messages like [cicada] Hello, anyone there?
It modifies player capes and elytra with ugly textures
And insecticide replaces it with harmless code
What does this mod do
This is a fork of CICADA which is a library mod containing general utilities and common abstractions used in many of enjarai's mods
Some of the features of Insecticide:
- Player rendering independent of a world context
- A custom cloak renderer
- A GSON based self-managed mod config template class
- An abstract mixin plugin to facilitate compatibility mixins

How to Install Insecticide on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Insecticide". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Insecticide server crashes on startup – what to do?
