About this Mod
So you think your base is tough, do you?
Welcome! Have you in the past built fortifications, prepared your base, crafted armor and secured your chests, then noticed that no threat ever shows up? This mod seeks to fix that. If you feel the regular mobs just aren't quite up to the challenge and you want to really test your defenses, then try this out. It also brings some useful recipes and items.
The Invasion Mod gives you the ability to initiate an attack on the location of your choosing. The difficulty steadily ramps up and the mobs are designed to deal with base defenses. The behavior of all invading mobs has been extensively revamped. Most mobs have new abilities and there are some new mobs and substantially more powerful mobs on the way, geared towards new roles.

Improvements made in this fork
This fork aims to improve the Invasion Mod 1.7.10 version and fix long-standing issues. Some notable improvements are:
- Chat messages were greatly improved, including colors and translations
- Added a Nexus damage sound (that really was necessary!)
- Fixed 11 missing sounds
- Fixed bugs such as Infused Sword heart particles not being visible to other players or not being able to shift-click items into the Nexus
- Added an option to disable Invasion Mod mobs dropping Small Remnants
- Added German and Simplified Chinese localizations (hopefully with more to come!)
- Made the Nexus GUI translatable
- Several other QoL improvements!
Newer Minecraft versions
By checking out the other forks of this project, you can find various (unreleased, seemingly unfinished) ports of the mod:
- 1.10.2 by XenoDarth and (more recent) crazysnailboy
- 1.12.2 by DerToaster98
- (far more recent) forked by durinfab - I've successfully compiled the latest version, but major bugs and crashes appear. Not recommended for ingame use.
- (2 commits ahead) forked by Michael-Andrzejewski
- (far more recent) forked by durinfab - I've successfully compiled the latest version, but major bugs and crashes appear. Not recommended for ingame use.
- 1.15.2 by DolphinTechCodes
- 1.21 by Sollace - This seems like the most promising fork right now, assuming it will be continued.
If you have the skills and the time, I'm sure many people would be happy to see this mod playable in 1.12.2 or even later versions!
